I had the idea for this short film from the computer server room at work. With the light out and nothing but the fans and flashing lights of about a dozen web/mail/file servers, it's a bit spooky. There's a CCTV computer watching everyone in the building too. I liked the idea of someone getting trapped in there, being able to see everyone, but not communicate to them. Uberwachung is a German word meaning "awakeness" and "watching over". The film stars my German friend Klaus (www.charlieblackfield.com).
